Environmental Policy Statement

In particular, Vacuum Excavation (Australia) Pty Ltd is committed to:

• Securing compliance with relevant legislation, applicable regulations and where practicable, codes of practice and voluntary agreements and guidelines.
• Adopting practices which minimise any adverse environmental impact and aim to achieve a high standard of environmental care.
• Manage the use of energy resources in line with the Vacuum Excavation Energy Management Policy.
• Including environmental consideration in our business planning and investment strategies to ensure that environmental management is fully integrated into the business.
• Providing employees and customers with relevant information about the environmental impacts of our services, and ensuring that suppliers and contractors are aware of our environmental policy and are encouraged to apply a comparable standard of environmental care.
• Maintaining open and constructive communication with Government, industry bodies, and the community and contributing to the development of national policies and regulations.

In order to achieve our environmental objectives, improvement targets appropriate to the nature and scale of environmental impacts will be set and reviewed at periodic intervals.

This policy will be communicated to all employees, displayed at prominent locations and made publicly available upon request.
